A Brand That Taught Us Everything
Every creative journey has a project that changes the way you see the work. For us, that was Chapel Tavern — Reno’s first and best whisk(e)y bar in the heart of MidTown. Long before the district found its fresh identity, Chapel was already writing the playbook: bold spirits, smarter storytelling, and a visual language that stood apart from anything else in the city.
We had the privilege of helping shape that world. From the irreverent Chapel Challenge posters, to the Whisk(e)y Women branding, event promotions, logos, and the unforgettable “Reno Wild Life” identity — every piece pushed us to think differently. It was gritty, clever, design-driven, and unapologetically original.
Working on Chapel taught us how a brand becomes a culture. How personality, typography, photography, and a little risk-taking can create a place people rally around. And it became a foundation for everything that followed — from our later bar concepts, to client work in hospitality, to the way we approach storytelling today.
In short: Chapel Tavern sharpened our instincts, expanded our craft, and set the tone for the next decade of creative work. Forever grateful for the wild ride.
